When John was at the young age of 11, he was given his first Buck 110 knife and was only allowed to carry it during hunting and fishing trips.  His passion for knives began.

John has been a machinist and CNC programmer in the Aerospace industry for more than 20 years.  His machining experience combined with his passion for knives is the basis for building his PESCADOR Knives operation.

PESCADOR Knives are designed to be used universally with an emphasis on use for hunting and fishing.  The word Pescador is spanish for fisherman. The brand name PESCADOR Knives is derived from recognizing the long time fishing tradition in the Lopez family.
